Established in 1997 in cooperation with UNESCO, the museum is a reminder of what was lost beneath Lake Nasser. Exhibist are displayed in huge halls, where explanations are clearly written and take you back from 4500 BC through the present day. It is a treat that showcases the history, art and culture of Nubia.
